- ➤ The Oshkosh Area School District will host its second annual MLK Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 19 at Vel Phillips Middle School from 8 to 10:45 a.m.; free activities include a continental breakfast and student musical performances — registration is required by Jan. 12. Oshkosh Northwestern

- ➤ Wisconsin health officials said children should still receive all the vaccines even though the CDC now recommends them only for high-risk groups.
