- ➤ Local shelters in the Fox Valley are expanding space to add 15 to 20 emergency beds and sending outreach teams to keep people warm as freezing temperatures persist while donations are welcomed to support these efforts at Pillars (serving families) and St. John's Ministries in Green Bay. WBAY
- ➤ Dog owners can enter the NEW Top Dog contest starting Jan. 26 by submitting a photo online to support local shelters, rescue groups and youth programs while vying for prizes like a brewery label feature; voting runs from Feb. 2 to March 1. WBAY

- ➤ XRoads41 music festival has announced that Zac Brown Band will headline its event on Thursday, Aug. 6 in Oshkosh. Tickets are on sale with a price increase set for Jan. 30 (3-day and one-day passes, including VIP options, are available). WBAY
