Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin received a $250,000 social justice impact grant from Packers Give Back, officials announced Wednesday.

The funds — set to support safe meeting spaces and expand mentoring for youth waiting over six months — will help the nonprofit shorten its waitlist.

UW-Oshkosh is celebrating America’s 250th birthday with America 250+ a series of public events including panel discussions, film screenings and drink sampling that began Wednesday, Feb.
