Good morning, Oshkosh.

Two local businesses (GRIT from Fond du Lac and Captain Quesadilla from Green Bay) are pitching their ideas on Season 10 of Project Pitch It, which premieres April 11 on WBAY.

The Oshkosh Police Department will begin a phased rollout of new uniform patches on March 1 after 25 years.

Officers requested the change and a committee designed the patch to respect national symbol guidelines (a community donor covered the cost).

With National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March, doctors at ThedaCare urge adults to start screenings at 45 as rising cases among younger adults (20% of diagnoses) signal a need to check risk factors like genetics, diet and lifestyle.

The American Red Cross will offer free A1C testing and a $15 Amazon gift card to blood, platelet, and plasma donors throughout March at local drives, with results provided within two weeks (no fasting needed) to help donors learn about their blood sugar levels.
