  • Four candidates are running for two open seats on the Oshkosh school board in a spring election on April 7.   • Governor Tony Evers plans to sign Gail's Law today; the new law mandates that insurance covers follow-up breast cancer screenings and eliminates co-pays for supplemental tests for high-risk women, honoring Gail Zeamer (a Neenah mom).  WBAY

HEALTH NEWS

  • Governor Tony Evers signed a law on March 18 at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee — extending postpartum Medicaid coverage for low-income women from 60 days to a full year. The bipartisan measure will expand access to preventive and mental health care for new mothers.  Oshkosh Northwestern
