ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 65-year-old man fell through the ice at Miller Park in Omro on Thursday evening — Officer Quinn rescued him after a 911 call at 7:11 p.m. and he was then treated for cold exposure. FOX 11
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Wisconsin DOT began work on I-41 between Appleton and De Pere this spring, closing ramps at WIS 96 (with northbound lane closures), WIS 47 (with on- and off-ramps closed), and the WIS 441 ramp. Safety upgrades will reconfigure the roadway by fall and ultimately by 2030. WTAQ
- ➤ The Plan Commission will review the proposal for the Brown County Central Library addition and a bank demolition plan at 6 p.m. Monday in room 604 of City Hall (100 N. Jefferson Street). FOX 11
- ➤ Gov. Tony Evers signed Gail's Law on March 19, requiring insurance to cover extra breast cancer screenings for women with dense breast tissue. The law follows years of advocacy by Gail Zeamer’s family & aims to help more women catch cancer early. Oshkosh Northwestern
