- ➤ XRoads41 Hard Drive will be a one-day rock music festival on Sunday, Aug. 9 at Oshkosh Festivals Park after a five-year break; the lineup will be announced Monday, April 13 + tickets will go on sale Friday, April 17. It will follow the three-day XRoads41 festival, scheduled from Aug. 6-8. WTAQ
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Fuel costs are rising in Wisconsin as the statewide average for unleaded regular gas is about $3.63 amid the war in Iran; analysts warn prices may hit $4 soon, leaving drivers with little choice but to pay more. WBAY
- ➤ Oil analyst GasBuddy said gas prices are expected to nearly hit $4 a gallon this week, following a 35% rise nationwide since the war with Iran began (Wisconsin rates remain at $3.67), which could impact local drivers. WBAY
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Citizen Sturgeon Guard volunteers and DNR officials met Monday (at the Shadows on the Wolf Clubhouse in Shiocton) to prepare for the upcoming sturgeon spawning season along the Wolf River. Experts expect cold river water from the snow melt may delay spawning but the fish run is still anticipated. WTAQ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Evers awarded nearly $15M in violence-prevention grants to schools and organizations, including a $85K grant to the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh, across 60 counties. The state added $5M in federal funds to expand community safety programs. WTAQ

- ➤ Data from Realtor.com shows that in February, median home list prices in Winnebago County dropped to $291,150—2.9% lower than January’s listings as homes averaged 1,531 sqft and moved more quickly than the national median. Oshkosh Northwestern
