- ➤ Friends and neighbors have organized a benefit at Circle Tap in Denmark this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to support Hannah Scalish, who is recovering from Guillain-Barre syndrome after losing mobility; the event will feature a raffle, bake sale and live entertainment to help with her medical expenses. - ➤ Debbie Marland of Sunshine Farm petting zoo in Necedah seeks help to locate Chesney, her 16-month-old kangaroo that escaped on March 25 after dogs frightened him. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ ThedaCare has expanded its substance abuse peer counseling program with Apricity and now offers support in its new Fond du Lac and Oshkosh facilities. The program (launched in 2020) assists patients in emergency departments with referrals, treatment and recovery follow up. FOX 11
