Good morning, Oshkosh.

Oshkosh-area voters will head to the polls Tuesday as contested races for Winnebago County executive and referenda on a photo ID requirement and the local school district facilities plan appear on the ballot.

Polling stations will accept same-day registrations with valid ID and proof of address and will be open from 7 a.m.—8 p.m.

Last Sunday, candidate Gordon Hintz spoke with host Tom Zalaski about his plan to unseat the current county executive, Jon Doemel — with the Spring General Election less than a week away, voters will soon choose if they want a new leader.

Allergy season in Wisconsin has become longer because climate change makes trees and plants release pollen for more days.

An analysis showed that since 1970 the season increased by 25 days in Milwaukee and 33 days in Madison — and doctors note more patients need allergy treatment.
