- ➤ Ed Bieber—known online as Ed the Diver—and his fiancée Christie Barlament launched an Easter egg hunt across northeast Wisconsin by hiding prize-filled eggs near rivers, lakes, and streams to encourage cleaning waterways. The event has raised over $3,000 in donations and will run through Easter Sunday, inviting local families to take part. We Are Green Bay
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Winnebago County passed a resolution to sell the UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus and may move the Weis Earth Science Museum collection from Menasha to Appleton, with Outagamie County set to sell its half for $1. Dr. Don Mikulic said the museum was built for the collection and moving it would require a lengthy process—plans for a future display are still in discussion. WTAQ

- ➤ The city of Oshkosh will launch a new digital parking permit system on Monday that lets users apply for, purchase and manage parking permits online—replacing the paper-based process. The system offers permits for city-owned lots and street parking and will add hourly paid parking areas on High Avenue and Osceola Street on July 1. FOX 11
- ➤ Governor Tony Evers warned that up to 25% of child care facilities in the state could close if funds for the Child Care Counts program are not extended beyond June—child care providers at a Northeast Wisconsin roundtable on Friday voiced concerns over teacher turnover and low support compared to school funding.
