- ➤ Oshkosh Festivals LLC has renamed its one-day rock festival to XRoads41 Rock Detour due to a trademark conflict — the event keeps the same lineup featuring Breaking Benjamin and tickets for Aug. 9 go on sale today at 10 a.m. FOX 11
- ➤ WIXX radio hosts remixed FOX 11 video of sturgeon spawning in a flooded yard at Wolf River Asphalt in Shiocton amid regional flooding this week. The remix draws attention as local residents watch the viral clip — a rare capture since Bamboo Bend remains closed for the season. FOX 11
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a new webpage listing hotels that offer discount rates for residents displaced by flooding. The site (updated regularly) requires evacuees to call and identify themselves to receive emergency rates and help. WBAY
HEALTH NEWS
