- ➤ Tonya Hedke of Neenah won a $9.5 million Megabucks jackpot after matching all six numbers drawn on April 12 and claimed her prize Tuesday at a state lottery office in Madison. She bought her ticket at the Kwik Trip on Gertrude Street in Kaukauna—making it the largest lottery win in Wisconsin this year. WHBY

- ➤ A mobile job lab opened at Oshkosh Correctional Institution to help inmates learn skills for finding work after release. The lab, a partnership between the Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Department of Workforce Development, offers resume help, career assessments and interview practice for nearly 400 inmates released each year. - ➤ The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reminds Oshkosh anglers that the general inland fishing season will open statewide Saturday, May 3 — anglers aged 16 and up must purchase a fishing license and follow cleaning procedures to prevent invasive species and fish disease. WBAY
- ➤ Wisconsin lawmakers held an April 23rd hearing on Bradyn's Law which could allow murder charges if sextortion leads to suicide in memory of 15-year-old Bradyn Bohn. The bill, written with help from Attorney General Josh Kaul (and others), will be reviewed by the Assembly and Senate before it reaches Gov. Tony Evers. Oshkosh Northwestern
