GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oshkosh warns of possible flooding as the Fox River will rise this weekend before cresting Monday, affecting low areas near the river, Lake Winnebago and Sawyer and Campbell creeks. Free sandbags are available at the Seniors Center (north building parking lot) or can be delivered via the police non-emergency number. WBAY
- ➤ Federal officials approved HUD's transfer of Newcap housing grants to eligible Wisconsin nonprofits so that 134 families can keep receiving housing support after Newcap ceased operations amid misuse allegations (Sen. Baldwin confirmed details with HUD Secretary Scott Turner). FOX 11
