EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today the Oshkosh Public Library is accepting applications for a paid summer internship for teens 16 and older who will be juniors or seniors next fall—candidates will work 10 to 15 hours a week at $14.25 an hour from June 9 through August 31. Applicants must apply by May 15 through the City of Oshkosh website and the position is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. WBAY
- ➤ Wisconsin Public Service hosted its 29th annual Solar Olympics yesterday morning at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to give nearly 200 high school students from northeast and north central Wisconsin a chance to compete in 13 solar energy events—ranging from solar car races to solar art challenges—with medals awarded to top teams.
