- ➤ Drivers in Wisconsin experienced over 17,000 deer-related crashes in 2024, including nine fatalities and 708 injuries—Waukesha, Washington, and St. Croix counties recorded the highest numbers and state DOT officials urge drivers to stay alert this spring. Oshkosh Northwestern

- ➤ UW-Oshkosh student Cameron Mueller, 23, teaching at Menasha High, allegedly exchanged topless photos and engaged in inappropriate physical contact with an 18-year-old student — he faces one count of sexual misconduct and will return to court on May 22. FOX 11
- ➤ Oshkosh police are investigating a series of graffiti vandalism incidents—graffiti has been sprayed on dumpsters, street signs, a light pole, a barrel, a building wall and a window in the 1000 to 1400 blocks of Oregon Street and the 100 block of W. 7th Avenue—and they are asking anyone with information to contact them. - ➤ A criminal complaint filed Friday accused UW-Oshkosh student teacher Cameron Mueller of exchanging topless photos and inappropriately touching an 18-year-old student at Menasha High School—Mueller denied the charges after police said his phone contained several revealing selfies. WTAQ

- ➤ The Catholic Church named Pope Leo XIV, who was formerly Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost—well known in Northeast Wisconsin and De Pere—as the new pope, and local priests say he understands the everyday struggles of the community.
