- ➤ UW-Oshkosh is moving ahead with summer campus improvement projects that include underground utility work, relocating the Student Health Center, demolishing a residence hall, and renovating Polk Library; the university launched a webpage (with timelines, updates, and FAQs) to guide the community during construction. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Neenah, Menasha and Fox Crossing are drafting uniform e-bike ordinances to curb reckless riding along the Loop the Lake Trail. The new rules (including helmet mandates for riders under 16 and a downtown ban) will await final council and board approval. WTAQ
- ➤ States like Georgia, Indiana, and Utah have paused gas taxes, but no Wisconsin lawmaker has proposed suspending the 30.9¢ fuel tax because the governor must act through legislation and the move may hurt the transportation fund (state collections reached $81 million in March), making a tax holiday unlikely in 2026.
