- ➤ Oshkosh Area United Way will host its 16th annual Golf to Give Outing on June 4 at Westhaven Golf Club, beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and a 9 a.m. shotgun start & the event will support Growing Readers and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library with registration open until May 29. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Colorado man, Romon Mitchell, reached a plea deal in Winnebago County Court after his January arrest in an Oshkosh prostitution sting—he was charged with having a gun as a felon and with possessing Fentanyl and Meth while a human trafficking count was dropped, and he will be sentenced on July 14th with up to 40 years in prison. - ➤ UW-Oshkosh officials said the university will eliminate its $18 million budget deficit by July 1 as the new fiscal year begins—plans include merging colleges and departments that could save $2 million. WBAY
