- ➤ The Social Security Administration on Friday, May 15 reported that Wisconsin’s top baby boy name for 2025 is Oliver and the top baby girl name is Charlotte — matching trends seen in local hospital records. FOX 11
- ➤ The United Kingdom's Red Arrows will fly at EAA AirVenture at the Oshkosh fly-in convention from July 20 to July 26 with aerial displays from July 24 to July 26. Their performances are part of an extended U.S. tour celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary. FOX 11
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ UW-Oshkosh is starting summer construction projects by demolishing three less-used dorms and burying exposed pipes along the central mall to make way for future development including Polk Library renovations. The work will open green space until the university announces new building plans. FOX 11
- ➤ UW-Oshkosh is partnering with Universidad Católica de Santa María (Arequipa, Peru) and leaders will visit this month to sign a memorandum of understanding that may lead to student exchanges and collaborative research, building on previous global health projects. Oshkosh Northwestern
