EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ UW-Oshkosh will launch a new broadcast engineering emphasis in its Radio, TV, and Film Department next fall—designed with input from industry leaders to meet the growing demand for skilled broadcast engineers. The university will work with Madison College to offer a pathway that lets students earn both an associate and bachelor’s degree in four years. FOX 11
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin has already recorded 19 confirmed tornadoes this year, including an EF-2 near New Richmond on May 15 (video courtesy CNN). The National Weather Service is reviewing two more areas and warns that more storms may occur as the state has not yet reached its peak season. FOX 11
