- ➤ On May 20, local volunteers helped non-profits during the Fox Valley Day of Caring by cleaning carts and pulling weeds at the Neenah-Menasha YMCA and Saint Joseph’s Food Program, freeing up resources for groups that support the community. FOX 11
- ➤ The new trackless Menominee Park Train debuts Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m. after a 9:30 a.m. ribbon cutting at the depot near the Community Playground in Oshkosh; it will offer rides every 20 minutes through Labor Day. WBAY
- ➤ Rising gas prices have led Fox Valley families to seek emergency help for rent and utilities at the Menasha LEAVEN office on May 19. LEAVEN (serving Calumet, Outagamie, and northeastern Winnebago counties) expects to help more households this summer as costs continue to climb. WTAQ

- ➤ The Oshkosh Area School District hosted its tenth annual C.A.R.E. Days event on Wednesday at Oshkosh West High School (Celebrating Abilities, Rallying Everyone) as over 150 adapted physical education students and more than 275 high school volunteers joined track events and activities to foster inclusion.
