- ➤ On May 15, the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh honored four honorees for their service—Heather Holly-Pinnow received the J.R. Vette Friend of Youth Award and the Service League of Oshkosh, Omni Glass and Paint, and Susan Tesch were recognized for their support. - ➤ The Old Glory Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight will carry 100 Vietnam War veterans from Oshkosh to Washington, D.C. on July 25 for a tour of war memorials and a return after the air show—local veterans on the waitlist and other AirVenture attendees can apply for one of about 15 available seats until June 7. - ➤ Outagamie County’s finance committee met Tuesday to discuss reallocating $3.2 million originally set aside for UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities to purchase a new ERP Human Capital Management System that will combine the county’s financial, payroll, budgeting, and receipting operations. County Executive Tom Nelson said the overall project—estimated at $3-5 million—will use additional capital from sales tax so taxpayers do not face a direct burden. WTAQ
