- ➤ A 53-year-old Oshkosh man—Rodney Franklin—was charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide for the November death of Keith Risekamp in Neenah and remains in custody on a $500,000 bond after evidence from the State Crime Laboratory linked him to the case and to a previous theft from a corpse charge. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Parents and students at Vel Phillips Middle School in Oshkosh raised concerns about violence following a physical altercation between a student, an administrator, and a police resource officer that led to the administrator being placed on leave for the rest of the school year—school board member Tim Hess also reported worries over student behavior.
