- ➤ Vietnam War veterans will board a special Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. on July 24 as part of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, and the free flight operated by American Airlines+with a volunteer crew lets veterans visit war memorials before returning to a welcoming Oshkosh. - ➤ Music on Main returns to Opera House Square in downtown Oshkosh starting June 3, offering 13 free Wednesday concerts with a mix of blues, jazz, country, rock and brass bands through Aug. 26. The series includes family concerts at noon & regular shows at 5:30 p.m. WBAY
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officials completed a 17-year PCB cleanup along the Lower Fox River in 2020 after spending $1.3 billion to remove 6.5 million cubic yards of contaminated sediment. The EPA certified the project complete in 2022 and plans to monitor the river for 30 years until fish are safe to eat. Oshkosh Northwestern
