- ➤ Nikolas DeGroot (a single dad and new political science grad) launched Politics in the Park at a neighborhood park to host daily conversations after post-election anxiety spurred his idea. He hopes to build a civic commons for neighbors to share diverse views. WBAY
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oshkosh Media will continue to produce shows in its current building through July as the city works on converting the space into a new Communication and Engagement Division for in-house media efforts. Volunteer producers say the extension gives them more time to adjust amid planned changes. FOX 11
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ After being severely injured at age 10, Neenah teen Jack Brucks fought through surgeries and rehab before finishing second in his comeback race and winning a national junior championship; he signed his first pro contract in December 2025 (thanking UW Health). Now 16, Jack is set to race professionally. WBAY
