- ➤ The Oshkosh Saturday Farmers Market returns today downtown along Main St with over 190 vendors offering new food options and expanded entertainment (rain or shine). The market runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. until Oct. 31 except July 4. WBAY
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Family-owned Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto opened a Fox Cities store at 999 Winneconne Ave in Neenah through a soft opening ahead of a grand opening from June 12 to 14 (a special Father's Day event on June 20 lets kids build a free bird feeder). It is the retailer's fifth Wisconsin location. WBAY
- ➤ Theisen's Home, Farm and Auto opened on Thursday, May 28 near Neenah with a flag raising and free popcorn for customers. Shoppers and local employees joined the event as they celebrated the store's new beginning. Oshkosh Northwestern
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oshkosh Media will keep working from its current building until July as the city plans to turn the space into a central hub for its Communication and Engagement Division — Life TV channel shows will need a new location after the conversion. WTAQ
- ➤ Beginning June 1, all ATV/UTV riders in Wisconsin will be required to wear seat belts and use eye protection if the vehicle lacks a windshield, and new UTV tint limits restrict front windows to 50% and rear windows to 35% as the DNR aims to reduce fatalities. FOX 11
