- ➤ Officials announced that the man-made pool at 2881 South Broadway Drive will open for the summer season on Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. The lake will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays — offering a sand beach, diving boards, slides, and a water playground for guests. - ➤ Wisconsin DOT warned residents of phishing scam texts that mimic official messages—claiming unpaid traffic violations—and advised them to avoid sharing personal information. FOX 11
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Community members can pick up free keepsake bricks salvaged from the demolished Merrill Elementary and Middle School building during a drive-up giveaway from noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at the OASD Maintenance Building on South Main Street; attendees must turn onto East 14th Avenue and exit via Pioneer Drive, and while there is no one-brick limit, large requests may be deferred to let everyone receive one, with 1,000 bricks available that include extras for the Merrill Memorial Corner.
