- ➤ The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will waive state park admissions, fishing licenses and trail passes during the 13th annual Free Fun Weekend on June 7-8 — inviting families to enjoy 50 state parks, 15 state forests and 44 state trails from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. with free fishing clinics and other outdoor activities offered at many sites. - ➤ The St. Joseph Backpack Food Assistance Program served nearly 43,000 meals to students in eight school districts for the 2024-2025 school year. Each meal had eight ready-to-eat healthy items—designed to ease stress and help students start the week ready to learn. We Are Green Bay
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ OSMS broke ground for a new 27,000-square-foot clinic in Oshkosh on June 4, 2025 — the facility at 200 South Oakwood Road will open in spring and offer orthopedic consultations, rheumatology care, and sports medicine evaluations, along with an acute walk-in clinic that does not need referrals by most insurance plans. The expansion aims to reduce emergency room visits by providing timely, specialized care for fractures, sprains, and other urgent injuries. WTAQ
