ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • The Omro Rushford Volunteer Fire Department responded to two structure fires in Omro and Rushford minutes apart—calls arrived within two minutes—with firefighters noting that neighboring agencies provided key support even as teams prepared for their annual street dance.  We Are Green Bay

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Since March 18, UAW workers at the Cummins plant in Oshkosh have struck over issues including unfair labor practices and temporary staffing. A virtual meeting is set for June 26 — union leaders expect to negotiate higher wages and fewer Saturday shifts to secure a fair contract.  FOX 11

CRIME NEWS

  • A traffic stop near Winneconne High School on Wednesday led police to seize large amounts of meth and fentanyl from a 44-year-old Monroe County woman who said she was in town to fish—criminal charges are pending.  WHBY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Manawa Police Chief Jason Severson said the department is stepping up its enforcement of e-bike ordinances to make sure riders and kids follow the rules—kids 16 and under are limited to speeds of 20 mph. Biking expert Nick Rozek added that riders should always wear helmets and check local rules before riding.  WBAY
