- ➤ Staff at the St. Vincent de Paul store in Oshkosh asked residents to stop using the drop-off site as a garbage dump after a truck was caught on camera dumping trash at 3 a.m. The cleanup cost about $70 + the store is asking the community for help to identify those responsible. WTAQ
- ➤ Independence Day celebrations will include fireworks shows and parades across Northeast Wisconsin on July 3, July 4, and July 5. In Oshkosh, an event will be held on Friday, July 4 at 9 a.m. along Otter Ave to N Main St to E Irving Ave to Menominee Park—other nearby communities will host similar displays. FOX 11
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy, Jayden Adams, who drove as a 13-year-old in a 2021 hit-and-run that killed an Oshkosh woman, pleaded guilty to felony counts and will serve 15 years of confinement—beginning in juvenile detention before moving to adult prison and followed by 10 years of extended supervision.
