- ➤ Sybastian Crossman, 24, was sentenced to six years in prison and given five-year extended supervision for negligently fatally stabbing a man outside a pizza restaurant on High Avenue at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 10—he stabbed the victim during an argument. FOX 11
- ➤ Oshkosh police reported that 24-year-old Sybastian Crossman was sentenced to six years in prison and five years of extended supervision—he was convicted for fatally stabbing a man during an altercation outside a pizza restaurant on High Avenue at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 10th, 2024. WTAQ
- ➤ The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has expanded its search for a woman accused of using counterfeit $100 bills at multiple local businesses, including incidents in Oshkosh, after releasing surveillance images that show her with long pink hair, glasses, a leopard print head dressing, and denim jacket while she is believed to be driving a black Kia K5 EX — authorities urge anyone with information to come forward. - ➤ Fox Valley school leaders urge state lawmakers to revisit the biennial budget as they are disappointed with the proposed school funding that cuts special education reimbursement from 60% to 35% — leaving districts to divert funds or hold operational referendums ahead of a budget deadline next week. Administrators from Appleton, Hortonville, Kimberly, Menasha, Neenah and Oshkosh say that without extra support for special needs and student mental health, schools risk closing or reducing services — a shortage highlighted by interpreter funding needs for over 600 Oshkosh students.
