- ➤ A list of 2025 Independence Day fireworks events in Northeast Wisconsin was released — it covers shows from June 27 to July 12. In Oshkosh, the local display will take place at Menominee Park on July 4 at 9:45 p.m. — residents can check the schedule for precise dusk or evening start times in other towns. WHBY
- ➤ Campgrounds opened Friday for EAA AirVenture, which will start on July 21, drawing local fans to claim their camping spots. Volunteers and longtime campers arrived early and many have returned for years–a tradition that adds to the event's excitement. FOX 11
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Deputies responded at 9:20 a.m. June 26 to a home on Farm View Road in the Town of Vandenbroek when a medical call was received about a 7 month old child who was not breathing—life-saving measures were attempted but the child was pronounced dead and an investigation is underway. - ➤ Stephan Reetz was sentenced in Outagamie County court on June 27th to 18 months in prison for a June 2023 motorcycle crash that killed Michael Zurawicz — he must also perform community service on Zurawicz's birthday and the anniversary of his death each year and attend a victim-impact panel.
