Good morning, Oshkosh.

The Oshkosh Police — with the Fire Department — responded at 1:00 p.m. Saturday to a fire in an uninhabited building on Pioneer Drive and began investigating the cause while reporting no injuries, asking anyone with information to come forward.

A recent report explains that swimming in local waters is fun but comes with risks such as drowning, illness from E. coli and blue-green algae, and swimmer’s itch—especially for young children.

Health officials advise constant supervision, using life jackets, and checking posted water quality warnings to keep everyone safe.
