- ➤ Oshkosh Police released surveillance video of a suspect who carried and lit a box on fire outside Oshkosh Defense at 2307 Oregon St on July 10th—an employee quickly extinguished the fire with only minor building damage and no injuries reported. FOX 11

- ➤ U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy visited EAA AirVenture on July 22, saying he prioritized upgrading the nation’s air traffic control system. Duffy—a Wisconsin native—added that the Big Beautiful Bill provides billions for replacing 50-year-old radar and communications systems and for training new controllers, though he warned the upgrades will take time.
