Good morning, Oshkosh.

High Flying Hangars has signed a letter of intent to build a premium hangar community at Wittman Regional Airport with up to 35 hangars + a clubhouse, aiming to boost year-round aviation business.

Construction is targeted for 2027 as part of local efforts to expand investment beyond AirVenture.

This week, about 700,000 visitors will gather in Oshkosh to see a wide range of airplanes and learn about aviation during the annual EAA AirVenture event.

The celebration will showcase local aerospace history paired with modern innovation.

Former Packer Jimmy Graham piloted 10-year-old Hazel Schaefer in the 2.5 millionth Young Eagles flight on Wednesday, July 22, as the program offers kids free rides to spark an interest in aviation (EAA).

State health officials reported that lone star tick submissions jumped from six last year to 33 so far, raising concerns over red meat allergies.

They may expand tick drags + strengthen public guidelines to protect residents from potential risks.
