- ➤ Leon Thompson, a longtime teacher at Oshkosh West High and a leader in the Celebration of Lights for over 20 years, is remembered for the caring support he gave to both students and residents. His family established the Leon Thompson Leadership Scholarship Fund (for Oshkosh high school students) (to honor his legacy) through the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. WBAY

- ➤ XRoads41 festival in Oshkosh will happen soon with plans to manage larger crowds and bad weather, and officials said they installed new storm drains to reduce flooding. - ➤ The city of Neenah launched a fundraising campaign yesterday to preserve Kimberly Point Lighthouse as Mayor Jane Lang and officials plan to restore its interior and exterior and improve ADA access.
