CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 17-year-old suspect, Vautrell Section, was charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide after police responded around 2 p.m. today to gunfire near Central St. and W. Irving Ave—officers later found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the 600 block of Franklin Street and set his cash bond at $200,000 with further court hearings scheduled for Aug. 21 and Aug. 25. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Less than three weeks before the new school year starts, Northeast Wisconsin school districts still need bus drivers so students will have a ride. Kobussen serves Oshkosh and other areas while Lamers needs about 10 or 15 drivers, offering low $20 hourly pay + CDL training for those who qualify. WTAQ

- ➤ Gov. Tony Evers visited Jefferson Elementary School in Oshkosh on September 4th and submitted a FEMA review request to help Wisconsin recover from historic Milwaukee floods.
