- ➤ Local electricity rates have held steady for WPS customers even as national prices rose 5.5% since January. WPS locked in 17 cents per kilowatt-hour last year—customers will receive a bill credit in September and October due to lower fuel costs. FOX 11

- ➤ After false active shooting reports from Villanova and Chattanooga, UW-Oshkosh police reviewed active threat training ahead of move-in which kicked off Friday while UW-Green Bay will start later in the month.
