- ➤ The Oshkosh Parks Department is planning to replace the Menominee Park train with a new wheeled unit—costing $100,000 mostly from community donations. Last year, the city planned to discontinue the old train due to repair costs—public outcry led the Common Council to approve extra summer funding. WHBY

- ➤ The Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office welcomed new K9 Brie, a one-year-old golden-doodle who will serve as a therapy dog to comfort grieving families—she will live with Deputy Medical Examiner Mackenzie Repinski when off duty. WBAY
