- ➤ Amanda Wolfgram, 26, of Appleton pleaded no contest on August 29 to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle after her car crossed the center line on July 13 near Third Street and De Pere Street in Menasha—she is scheduled for sentencing on October 17 and could face up to 40 years in prison. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Neenah Joint School District will offer a virtual learning option in partnership with Kiel eSchool and Between the Lakes Virtual Academy for the 2025–26 school year, with 25 students set to begin online classes Sept. 2. The new plan lets online learners stay with Neenah schools and join extracurricular activities while transfers for critical cases may be considered in December – many families are returning from out-of-district enrollments.
