- ➤ Wisk’s new autonomous electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft has joined the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh. The aircraft makes aviation history and will be shown to visitors as a breakthrough in electric flight. Oshkosh Northwestern
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Mark Radley, a 61-year-old pizza delivery driver, was convicted for a hit-and-run that fatally injured a pedestrian at about 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2024 at Ohio Street and W Third Avenue; he pleaded no contest and was scheduled for sentencing on November 21, 2024—police traced damage to his vehicle from security footage. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of La Crosse filed a federal class action lawsuit on Aug. 20 against three fire truck makers including REV Group, Oshkosh Corporation, and Rosenbauer America, accusing them of working together—through a trade group—to limit truck supply and raise prices. The suit claims that many towns now face higher costs and longer waits for new fire trucks. Oshkosh Northwestern
