A child’s $140 birthday donation is funding swim lessons at The Doggie Paddle—enrolling shelter dogs like Rufus, Steve, Smokey, and Dozer for exercise and play.
The indoor pool will match the donation to help even more dogs, officials said.
🏛️ Government
Since April 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has been expanding the I-41 corridor from Appleton to Green Bay, and the diverging diamond interchange on Northland Avenue is 75% complete.
DOT said work will shift to the mainline next spring—projects on Highway 47 and the French Road overpass are set to begin then.
