  • On Friday, the Oshkosh Area School District held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Merrill Memorial Corner to honor the former school and local figures James Merrill, Henry Auler and Harold Schumerth — reclaimed stone and bricks from the 125-year-old building tie the tribute to its history.  WTAQ

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Sen. Baldwin warned that if premium tax credits expire amid the government shutdown, Wisconsin farmers will face higher health insurance costs and rural families may pay hundreds more per month. Farmers already dealing with rising input costs worry about further burdens & state lawmakers must act soon to prevent a steep cost increase.  Oshkosh Northwestern
