Here's your local news at a glance for Thursday, the 20th of November.
Good morning, Oshkosh.
🌲 Environment
The gun deer opener will take place Saturday as hunters prepare for the tradition, and wildlife biologist Steve Burns from the DNR said deer will move regardless of weather (wind direction is key) even if rain or wind may affect their activity.
The delayed opener may reduce buck movement during hunting hours, but nearly 2 million deer statewide help fund conservation with tax dollars.
