- ➤ The Women's Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation announced The Monthlies Project will provide free menstrual products to Oshkosh schools to help students overcome period poverty. Backed by local donors and nonprofit partners — Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Kimberly-Clark — the initiative has already distributed more than 1 million products in the region. - ➤ The Wisconsin National Guard will not join Pete’s Toy Drive this year because federal rules restrict their support, so the bar’s owner and local supporters are boosting the drive. Donations will be collected to provide 1,400 gifts for about 160 kids and will be distributed on Dec. 17 with help from other groups + keeping the drive going strong after 10 years. WBAY
