- ➤ Fox Valley radio station WNAM will cease broadcasting on Dec. 31, ending 78 years of service that began in 1947 in Neenah and Menasha. Owner Cumulus said the decision comes as listener habits shift and economic pressures change, with local history archived by the Neenah Historical Society. FOX 11
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ ThedaCare Medical Center-Oshkosh will open Monday, Jan. 19, offering 24/7 care at its 114,000 sqft facility downtown (250 W. 6th Avenue along Fox River). A community open house is scheduled for Jan. 8 from 4-7 p.m. FOX 11
- ➤ The Wisconsin Department of Health Services confirmed two pediatric deaths from respiratory illnesses, with one linked to COVID-19 and the other to influenza, marking the first cases this season. DHS advises everyone 6 months and older to get vaccinated to help reduce serious illness. WBAY
