The Oshkosh Parks Department is planning to replace the Menominee Park train with a new wheeled unit—costing $100,000 mostly from community donations.

Last year, the city planned to discontinue the old train due to repair costs—public outcry led the Common Council to approve extra summer funding.

The Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office welcomed new K9 Brie, a one-year-old golden-doodle who will serve as a therapy dog to comfort grieving families—she will live with Deputy Medical Examiner Mackenzie Repinski when off duty.
