- ➤ Turning Point USA boosted Wisconsin politics by reaching college students and opening an office in Waukesha—its conservative campaign efforts were led by Charlie Kirk, who was killed on Sept. 10 at a campus event in Utah. - ➤ Nine municipalities in Winnebago County including Omro, Winneconne, Black Wolf, Nekimi, Poygan, Rushford, and Utica formed an ambulance district that will be served by Lifestar+ after Oshkosh ended its ambulance service due to staffing shortages.
